Sonya is an experienced therapist in many areas, including child and family issues such as attachment, divorce, trauma and developmental issues. She has long-term experience with developmentally delayed children and finds these therapeutic relationships to be incredibly rewarding.

Sonya is an experienced speaker and engages audiences with her stories, expertise and  unique delivery of cutting edge brain research, relationship education and tools for a successful and happy life.  Her audiences have included teens, parents, teachers, administrators and corporate businesses. 

She received her undergraduate education at William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri, and graduate education at Webster University, Kansas City, Missouri.

Certifications include: Registered Play Therapist and Core Mediator.
